The Clement

The Clement is a distinctive event venue in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, set within a former church dating from 1903. Its historic chapel setting gives weddings, receptions and celebrations a characterful backdrop, while updated facilities make the space practical for contemporary events.

Organisers can hire the venue for weddings, bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, anniversaries, memorial services and other private occasions. The main space can accommodate up to 120 seated guests, with tables and chairs available as part of the hire. A commercial kitchen is on site, and outside catering is permitted, giving hosts flexibility in choosing food for their event. The venue also offers a sound system, accessible entrance and restroom, and reserved parking.

The building's interior balcony provides extra seating and a view over the main space. Optional features include use of an outdoor patio and garden, tablecloth hire, setup or cleanup assistance, and decorative ceiling options. Couples can hold both their ceremony and reception at the venue, with the layout rearranged between the two. The original church bells are another memorable feature for wedding celebrations.

The Clement is a flexible, DIY-friendly space for organisers who want to shape their own event, with venue rental options and add-ons to suit different plans. It is around 25 minutes from Pittsburgh, making it an alternative to venues in the city while remaining accessible to guests travelling from the wider area.
