Terrapin Hill Farm

Terrapin Hill Farm offers a private countryside setting for weddings and other gatherings in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky. Its grounds bring together open fields, woodland, ponds and creekside scenery, giving organisers a choice of backdrops for ceremonies, photographs and time outdoors. Couples can choose from several ceremony locations, including a woodland chapel, a hilltop lookout and a gazebo beside a pond.

The main reception space is a covered pavilion with room for a seated celebration and dancing. The farm also has a historic farmhouse with indoor gathering and dressing areas, plus cottages, tent camping and RV connections for groups arranging an extended stay. Wedding packages range from elopements and micro-weddings to larger celebrations, with options for additional time and overnight use. The venue can accommodate approximately 175 guests seated beneath the pavilion, with further capacity possible using tents or a different layout.

Organisers have flexibility to select their own caterers and other suppliers, plan their schedule and shape the setting to suit their event. Tables and chairs can be arranged by the venue team, and practical facilities include accessible bathrooms, parking, lighting and nearby firepit areas. The owners offer tours by appointment and work directly with clients during planning. Day-of wedding coordination is also available as an optional service. With its rural landscape, adaptable spaces and accommodation on site, Terrapin Hill Farm is suited to relaxed weddings and selected private or public events where guests can make a stay of the occasion.
