Lily & Aster

Lily & Aster is a small event venue in the former East Moline Public Library, combining the character of a historic building with a refreshed, contemporary interior. It welcomes organisers planning private celebrations and smaller gatherings, with space for up to 96 guests.

The venue is suited to baby and bridal showers, graduation parties, birthdays, corporate events, rehearsal dinners and intimate weddings. The team also offers the room for other occasions, with rental periods that can be tailored to the event. Wedding bookings have custom pricing, and weekday and full-day discounts are available.

Tables and seating are included, with eight-person tables and champagne-coloured Chiavari chairs. The room is set up before guests arrive, so organisers do not need to arrange the furniture themselves. Other facilities include buffet tables, a kitchenette with a fridge-freezer and microwave, Wi-Fi, Sonos speakers, off-street parking and a staff member on site for assistance. An accessible entrance is available on the west side of the building.

Organisers can bring their own food or choose a caterer themselves, making it possible to shape the refreshments around the occasion. Alcohol is permitted subject to one-day event insurance. The venue shares an evolving vendor list to help clients explore local options, and prospective clients can arrange a visit to see the space before booking. Lily & Aster also hosts public events, while its core offering for organisers is the hire of its intimate, flexible event space.
