Hofzaken hires out distinctive spaces at Het Hof van Cartesius in Utrecht to businesses, entrepreneurs and organisations. The venue is suited to gatherings where creativity, sustainability and sharing ideas are central. You can use the spaces for meetings, working sessions, workshops, training sessions, talks and presentations, among other things. There is also space for a small-scale business event, depending on the plan and availability.

There are four rooms, each with its own character: de Loods, Tinkerplek, Kunstlab and Dakzaal. De Loods is a bright ground-floor room, while Tinkerplek and Kunstlab are ideal for practical and creative work. Dakzaal offers a flexible layout and can also be hired as half a room. Depending on the gathering, several rooms can be combined, for example for breakout sessions. The garden can also be included in the programme by arrangement.

The rooms are furnished with circular and reused materials and are located among the makers and entrepreneurs of Het Hof. Hofzaken can help you plan a suitable event and, where possible, connect you with the knowledge and services offered by other members of Het Hof. Support from a host is generally included. Catering can be arranged by agreement, including through businesses on the site.

Business hire is mainly available on weekdays and is subject to availability. The venue is not a fully private events complex: other businesses and visitors may be present and use shared facilities. This gives the place a lively, working atmosphere. Hofzaken is happy to discuss in advance whether the rooms and surroundings are suitable for the purpose and desired format of your gathering.
