Penshaw Masonic Hall

Penshaw Masonic Hall is a hireable function venue in the Penshaw and Shiney Row area, serving organisers who need a flexible setting for private celebrations, family occasions and meetings. Its two function rooms can be booked for events such as birthdays, weddings, family gatherings and funeral receptions, as well as work events, meetings, clubs and group activities.

Organisers can choose a room-only booking or ask about options that include the bar and catering. The larger hall is suited to bigger gatherings, while the smaller room can accommodate meetings and groups of around 40 people. The venue also offers catering prepared by its in-house chefs, with menu and package details discussed according to the event and the organiser's requirements. Bar staff and catering staff are available for organised events, and the team can discuss bespoke arrangements and provide a quote on request. A minimum hire period applies, so organisers should check the current terms when enquiring.

Facilities include individual bars, space for entertainment, a music system for children's parties and a large on-site car park. The venue is on one level, with wheelchair-accessible facilities and parking close to the entrance. This can make arrival and movement around the building easier for guests with access requirements. Penshaw Masonic Hall can therefore suit organisers looking for a practical local base for a celebration, social gathering or working meeting, with the option to arrange food and drinks through the venue. Enquiries about availability, room choice, catering and pricing can be made directly to the hall.
