Ashley Wood Farm

Ashley Wood Farm is a countryside venue for weddings and other events in Fonthill Gifford, Wiltshire. Set within the Fonthill Estate beside a lake, it offers a secluded rural setting with restored historic buildings, landscaped gardens and open lawns. The venue is hired on a dry-hire basis, giving organisers the freedom to choose their own caterers and other suppliers and shape the occasion to suit their plans.

Weddings are a central part of the offer. Couples can arrange a civil ceremony in one of several indoor or outdoor locations, including the garden pagoda, with the Studio Barn available as an indoor option. The main oak-floored barn provides space for dining and dancing, while the smaller Milking Barn offers an additional room. A bar, equipped catering kitchen, courtyard, gardens and parking field are also available. Weekend bookings allow time to prepare the site and clear it after the celebration, and midweek wedding hire is offered too.

The farm also welcomes parties, art exhibitions and other gatherings, with its buildings and grounds providing adaptable spaces for different event formats. Organisers can bring their own alcohol without a corkage charge, and the venue can suggest local suppliers while leaving the choice to the hirer. On-site accommodation is available in a two-bedroom lodge overlooking the lake, adding an option for couples or guests who want to stay nearby. Ashley Wood Farm combines a flexible hire arrangement with the character of a historic farm setting and room to create a personal event.
