Orpheum Performing Arts Center

The Orpheum Performing Arts Center is a theatre in Tannersville, New York, available to hire for corporate events, concerts and other special occasions. Its seated auditorium accommodates around 245 guests, making it a suitable choice for organisers seeking a dedicated performance setting with an intimate feel.

The venue is equipped for live productions, with a substantial stage, theatrical lighting, sound equipment and video facilities. Its sprung stage floor and optional dance flooring make it particularly well suited to dance performances, while the stage and auditorium can also support theatre, music, comedy and spoken-word programmes. Organisers can enquire about the technical setup and discuss requirements with the venue team in advance.

Backstage facilities include two dressing rooms, a green room and restrooms with showers. These spaces can help accommodate performers and production teams during rehearsals, preparation and event delivery. The centre is also used for its own performing arts programme, so event planners can consider it for performances and gatherings that benefit from a purpose-equipped theatre rather than a general-purpose function room.

The Orpheum is operated by the Catskill Mountain Foundation, and private hire enquiries are handled by its administration team. It is located on Main Street in Tannersville. There is no on-site parking, but municipal parking lots and limited street parking are nearby, with accessible parking spaces available. Planners can contact the venue to discuss dates, access, technical needs and the suitability of the space for their event.
