Nant y Walch Barn

Set in the Irfon Valley near Llanwrtyd Wells, Nant y Walch Barn is a restored 16th-century stone barn available for weddings, celebrations, meetings, workshops and wellbeing retreats. The historic building has been adapted into a bright, comfortable venue, with a glazed extension looking across the valley and a stream running beside the grounds.

The barn offers flexible hire, from shorter bookings to full-day and wedding-weekend packages. Weddings can include a choice of ceremony settings, a reception for around 80 to 100 guests and evening celebrations for up to 150. The venue is offered as a blank canvas, so organisers can choose their own caterers, furnishings and decorations. A licensed in-house bar, sound and lighting equipment, and a fire pit are among the available facilities. Couples who would like additional support can arrange a wedding coordinator, and the team can suggest local suppliers.

Four self-catering cottages close to the barn provide accommodation for up to 14 guests, with some wedding packages including a two- or three-night stay. The space also suits smaller gatherings, team away days, yoga and meditation sessions, sound baths and creative workshops. Its rural setting offers open views and a quieter atmosphere, while step-free access helps guests move around the venue.
