Irving Theater

The Irving Theater is a bookable event space within the CODE Building in downtown Charlottesville. Its auditorium-style layout accommodates up to 200 guests, making it suitable for presentations, talks, conferences, performances and community gatherings. The venue is available to event organisers looking for a dedicated indoor setting near the Downtown Mall.

The theatre is equipped with a large, backlit LED display for presentations and on-screen content. A pre-function area provides room for guests to gather before an event or during a break, and a wet bar is available to rent. Speakers and performers can make use of a secure backstage green room to prepare privately. The space also has enhanced fresh-air circulation.

A separate entrance on Water Street provides direct access to the theatre. Organisers can enquire about booking options and discuss their event requirements with the CODE Building team. The building also describes its facilities as suitable for a range of event sizes and formats, with catering services available through its food and beverage provider list. The Irving Theater can therefore work for business gatherings as well as public or private events that need auditorium seating and presentation facilities. Its central Charlottesville location and defined event spaces offer planners a practical option for bringing attendees together in a professional setting.
