Empowerment Studio

Empowerment Studio is a bookable event space in Newark, New Jersey, created with women and women-led communities in mind. Organisers can hire the studio for intimate celebrations, workshops, training sessions, brunches, networking mixers and creative gatherings. Events it highlights include baby showers, bridal parties, girls' nights, sip-and-paint sessions and business launches.

The studio spans two levels, with a main room and an upstairs lounge. Its layout and furnishings support a range of informal event formats, while smart TVs can display presentations, slideshows or branding. The space also has Bluetooth speakers and microphones, Wi-Fi, adjustable coloured lighting, fireplaces, a bar unit, high-top tables, rectangular tables and lounge seating. Organisers can arrange the room for a seated meal or use the additional seating for a presentation-style setup. The venue describes capacity of around 50 for mixers and small events, with a smaller recommended number for seated brunches or dinners.

Hire options include hourly bookings and packages that allow time for set-up and pack-down. Some packages include use of the venue's mirror photo booth. The studio also welcomes coaches, teachers, instructors, photographers and content creators who need a space for classes, workshops or recording virtual material. Its community-minded approach makes it particularly suited to gatherings centred on connection, learning and women's personal or professional development. Organisers can enquire about a private booking and discuss how the room can be arranged for their event.
