Falknerei Burg Greifenstein

Greifensteinstraße 3, 07422 Bad Blankenburg, Germany

Falknerei Burg Greifenstein offers flying displays and mobile falconry for organisers who want to add a special animal experience to their event. For trade fairs, weddings and medieval markets, the team travels with its birds of prey and puts on a flying display for guests. A personalised offer can be requested to suit the occasion and setting.
At its site at Burg Greifenstein, visitors can regularly enjoy flying displays featuring various birds of prey and owls. The displays share interesting facts about the animals and their way of life. Groups of 20 or more paying visitors can book an additional flying display by making a request in advance. The falconry centre is therefore also a suitable destination for organised groups and clubs.
The range also includes individually bookable experiences where participants can learn about the daily life of falconers. Adults can spend a day as a falconer, while children can enjoy a programme of their own. Other formats offer encounters with owls and eagles, or a guided walk with a Harris's hawk. The animals can also be requested for film, photography and media productions. Humane deterrence services for pigeons and corvids are also available.
Mobile falconry is particularly appealing to event planners: the team tailors the performance to the occasion and brings the animals to the venue. As weather and animal welfare requirements must be taken into account during displays, it is advisable to discuss the schedule, space requirements and any possible restrictions well in advance.
