Center for Public Secrets

The Center for Public Secrets is a cultural venue and community space in Tulsa's Pearl District, shaped by a programme of local history, storytelling and social change. Its work brings people together through exhibits, educational workshops, talks, screenings and community events, giving organisers a distinctive setting for gatherings with a cultural or civic focus.

The venue offers around 1,200 square feet of flexible space. It can accommodate up to 60 guests for a reception-style gathering or 40 in a theatre layout, making it suitable for smaller meetings, presentations, workshops, screenings and discussions. High-speed internet is available for organisers planning connected sessions or presentations. The space's intimate scale is well suited to events where conversation and audience participation matter.

Based at 573 South Peoria Avenue, the centre combines an event setting with the character of a local cultural organisation. Its own programme explores overlooked and misunderstood histories of Tulsa and beyond, drawing on the work of local artists, journalists, musicians and community voices. Organisers looking for a venue with a clear sense of place may find that background particularly relevant for educational, cultural and community-focused gatherings.

The Center for Public Secrets provides an alternative to a conventional meeting room, with a setting rooted in Tulsa's stories and public life. Its space and programming make it a considered option for organisers planning a small reception, workshop, talk or other gathering in the city.
