Robarts Arena

Robarts Arena is a multipurpose venue in Sarasota, Florida, available to organisers planning public, corporate and community events. Its large, open floor can be configured for a range of formats, including sporting events, home shows, trade shows, banquets, concerts and graduation ceremonies. This flexibility makes the arena suitable for productions that need a sizeable indoor space and room to adapt the layout to their programme.

The building has a 15,000-square-foot floor and can accommodate up to 4,845 people, depending on the arrangement. Fixed chair seating holds 2,696 guests. Organisers can discuss the intended event and layout with the venue team, which can provide a floor plan and rate information to support early planning and budgeting.

On-site facilities include a box office, concessions, two locker rooms and renovated bathrooms. The wider site offers ample parking, helping accommodate attendees and event operations. These features make the arena relevant to planners arranging audience-based shows, exhibitions, sporting events and larger gatherings that need a substantial indoor setting.

Robarts Arena is part of the Sarasota Fairgrounds, operated by the Sarasota County Agricultural Fair Association. Event organisers can contact the association to arrange a meeting and discuss their requirements. The venue's adaptable floor area, audience capacity and practical facilities provide a useful starting point for planning an event in the Sarasota area.
