Tahoma Plantation

Tahoma Plantation is a private event venue set among the fields, pine woods and historic buildings of southwest Georgia. The estate welcomes couples, businesses and families for gatherings that can take place across its indoor and outdoor spaces. Weddings are a key offering, with a restored historic church for ceremonies, open-air settings beneath the trees and a converted barn for receptions. The chapel accommodates up to 120 guests, while the barn offers space for larger celebrations, with a catering kitchen, covered porch and courtyard.

The property also suits corporate retreats, family reunions, milestone celebrations and community gatherings. Teams can use the barn for meetings and informal social time, with outdoor areas and activities available to shape a retreat programme. Families and groups can gather across the estate's lawns, porches and shared spaces, with cabins and other on-site accommodation making overnight stays possible. The venue describes lodging for groups, so organisers can plan a longer gathering without guests needing to leave the property each evening.

Practical features include a bridal suite, restrooms, tables and chairs, dinnerware, lighting, decor and photo booth options. Organisers can ask about packages, availability and which services are included for their event. Tahoma Plantation is in Blakely, within reach of southwest Georgia, southeast Alabama and north Florida. Its combination of a chapel, barn, outdoor locations and overnight accommodation makes it suitable for events where guests want to celebrate, meet or reconnect in a secluded country setting.
