Canal at Riverside Mill

Canal at Riverside Mill is a private event venue in Danville's Historic River District, set beside the old canal of the Dan River. Its contemporary interior and waterside setting provide a distinctive backdrop for gatherings, with views that are especially striking as the sun sets over the water.

The venue welcomes organisers planning weddings, corporate parties, bridal showers, birthdays and family reunions. Its event team can help coordinate the arrangements, allowing hosts to focus on their guests and the occasion. Event menu options cover cocktail receptions, lunch and dinner, giving planners several formats to consider when shaping their programme. Alcohol for events is subject to local restrictions, so outside alcohol is not permitted on site.

Located within the Riverside Mill complex, Canal is separate from the Cotton restaurant upstairs. The historic mill setting brings together industrial character and a modern finish, while the river and canal provide a memorable sense of place for celebrations and business gatherings alike. Organisers can contact the venue to discuss availability, pricing and the requirements of their event. Whether planning a wedding reception, a company celebration or a smaller private gathering, Canal offers a dedicated space and planning support in a central Danville location.
