Aston on Clun Village Hall

Aston on Clun Village Hall offers flexible indoor space for private celebrations, community gatherings, meetings and other local events in the South Shropshire countryside. Set beside the village green, the hall has a main room that can be arranged for different occasions, from seated meals and talks to dancing or theatre-style events. It accommodates up to 150 people in close seating, 90 at tables or 130 dancing, giving organisers useful options for choosing a layout.

For smaller meetings and workshops, an upstairs room seats up to 25 people. The main hall has folding tables, chairs, screens for dividing the space, power points and adjustable lighting. An adjoining kitchen is equipped with a commercial dishwasher, ovens, hob, refrigerator and hot-water dispenser, along with crockery, cutlery and serving utensils. Tables and chairs are also available to hire, and the hall has a skittles alley that can be booked by arrangement.

The venue is positioned on the edge of a large village green, with views towards the surrounding Shropshire Hills. A rear terrace provides an option for outdoor seating in suitable weather, while the hall's car park can accommodate around 25 cars. The green may be suitable for additional recreational use, although organisers need to arrange permission with the Parish Council for activities such as marquees or bouncy castles.

Aston on Clun Village Hall is a practical local choice for organisers seeking straightforward, adaptable space with kitchen facilities. Hire enquiries are handled directly by the hall, with bookings confirmed through its booking process. Organisers can discuss the room, equipment and any arrangements needed for their event before confirming a date.
