Rumi Event Space

Rumi Event Space is a flexible venue in Chelsea, Manhattan, designed for organisers planning corporate functions, social celebrations and large-scale productions. Its 9,000-square-foot space can be arranged for events ranging from gatherings of around 100 people to productions for more than 600, with two rooms and divider options that allow the layout to adapt to different occasions.

The venue's event offering includes bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate events, fashion shows, product launches, multimedia presentations, performances and film-related productions. A built-in stage, dance floor and green room support events with entertainment or live programming, while two bars provide options for guest service. Organisers can also make use of the on-site catering kitchen and an AV technician.

Production facilities are a notable feature. The space has substantial customisable LED screens, professional lighting and a Funktion-One sound system, with in-house DJ equipment, microphones and presentation technology. These facilities can support branded visuals, speeches, music and more technically demanding event formats. A published technical specification gives organisers useful detail when assessing the venue for a production.

Located at 229 West 28th Street, Rumi offers event planners a city-centre setting with room to create different guest experiences within one venue. Its combination of adaptable space, built-in production infrastructure and event-focused facilities makes it suitable for celebrations, business gatherings and presentations that need more than a standard meeting room.
