Drummond Center

Set beside Lake Greenwood in Lake Greenwood State Park, the Drummond Center offers event organisers an indoor venue with a scenic outdoor setting. The centre is available to hire for weddings, receptions, family reunions, business retreats and other group gatherings. Its position by the lake gives organisers the option of making the waterfront landscape part of the occasion, rather than relying solely on an indoor setting.

For weddings, the rear terrace provides an outdoor location for a ceremony overlooking the water, while the centre can host the reception indoors. This arrangement gives couples and planners a practical way to bring ceremony and celebration together at one site. The venue is also suited to family and social gatherings, as well as business groups seeking a relaxed setting for a retreat or meeting.

The building has a maximum capacity of 272 people, with seating for up to 169. Organisers can request the rental information packet, which includes pricing, contract details, venue rules, a floor plan, clean-up guidance and event set-up information. This helps planners assess the space and prepare a suitable layout in advance. Wi-Fi is available at the Drummond Center, and the park office can provide current rental details and answer questions about reservations.

With its lakeside terrace, indoor function space and place within a state park, the Drummond Center offers a distinctive backdrop for occasions ranging from wedding receptions to reunions and business retreats. Event planners can contact Lake Greenwood State Park to discuss availability, requirements and arrangements for their gathering.
