Lafayette Athletic Association of the Deaf

The Lafayette Athletic Association of the Deaf makes its Clubhouse available to event planners looking for a flexible venue in the Lafayette area. The space is suited to weddings, birthday celebrations, corporate events, meetings, reunions and other private functions, with indoor and outdoor areas to accommodate different event formats.

The facility has more than 6,000 square feet in total, including a main room and a large pavilion. The main room can be arranged for seated events of up to 160 people, or for standing gatherings of up to 360. Outside, the pavilion and landscaped back garden provide room for guests to gather and take part in recreational activities. Planners can also enquire about hiring the pavilion on its own.

A commercial kitchen is available, equipped with a large refrigerator and freezer, a gas stove, a pizza oven and a deep fryer. Tables, chairs and staging are included with the rental packages, while additional equipment such as a large hot-coal grill can be requested for an extra charge. The venue offers different rental durations, including a 12-hour option and an extended weekend package, with extra time and some specific requests available at additional cost.

Guests benefit from ample parking, and the site is enclosed and monitored. The Association is a nonprofit serving the Deaf, DeafBlind and hard-of-hearing community. Income from venue hire supports its mission and community work, so organisers can host their event while contributing to a local organisation.
