The interior combines plenty of natural light with carefully selected design features and a warm, personal feel. The furniture can be moved around, so the layout can be tailored to the purpose of the gathering. The main table usually seats 10 to 12 guests, and an extra table provides seating for around 15 to 16 people. A dynamic layout can accommodate up to 20 people, while a standing event is suitable for around 30 to 35 guests.
Presentation facilities include a large screen, Barco ClickShare, a flip chart and wifi. The space also has a kitchen, lounge, crockery, and coffee and tea facilities. Drinks and catering can be provided on request, including through local food suppliers. Catering for a sit-down meal is available for up to 12 people, while a more informal option with snacks can be arranged for a larger group.
Organisers can hire the venue for their own programme or ask for extra support with the layout and atmosphere of their gathering. Second mood also offers meeting design and facilitation for sessions that would benefit from a tailored dynamic or neutral facilitation. The bus station is a short walk away, as are several car parks.
