The Reach Performing Arts Center

The Reach Performing Arts Center is a 400-seat theatre in Deer Isle, Maine, available for event hire throughout the year. Set within the Deer Isle-Stonington school community, it provides a dedicated performance space for organisers planning theatre, dance, music and other live presentations. The venue also hosts school activities and events serving the wider island community.

For event planners, the theatre offers a setting suited to performances and audience-focused gatherings. Its 400-seat capacity makes it a practical option for productions and presentations that need a traditional theatre environment, whether organised by a school, arts group or community organisation. The Reach describes itself as a full-service venue and invites prospective hirers to enquire about rental or use of the facility.

The centre's programme and community role are closely connected with arts education and local creative activity. Theatre productions, dance performances and musical events form part of its year-round use, alongside school-related activities and community events. This makes The Reach relevant to organisers seeking a local venue for a staged programme rather than a general-purpose hall.

Located on North Deer Isle Road, the theatre serves Deer Isle and the surrounding island community. Organisers can contact the venue directly to discuss a proposed event and rental arrangements. With its substantial audience capacity and performing arts focus, The Reach is particularly well suited to productions, concerts, dance shows, school presentations and community performances.
