The Old School of Cameron

The Old School of Cameron offers event planners a choice of rooms in a historic former school building in Cameron, Missouri. Operated by the Historical Preservation Society of Cameron, the venue combines practical event spaces with a setting shaped by more than a century of local history.

The building dates from 1914 and retains reminders of its school days, including class photographs and displays of school memorabilia. These details give gatherings a distinctive local character, while the range of rooms makes the property suitable for different types of occasions. The ballroom can host larger celebrations, and smaller rooms are available for more intimate events or activities.

Organisers can enquire about hiring space for wedding receptions, birthday parties, family reunions, dances, dinners, meetings, seminars and other community gatherings. The rooms have also been used for fundraisers, craft shows and seasonal celebrations. This variety makes the venue relevant to both private hosts and organisations looking for a place to bring people together.

Room availability and hire arrangements should be confirmed directly with the society. The building is maintained as a community resource, and bookings help support the preservation of this historic property. Event planners can contact the team to discuss the spaces, check dates and ask about current rental terms before planning their event.
