Die Kalbsvilla is an event venue in the former paper mill in Ortenberg. The historic building dates back to 1798 and offers a distinctive setting for events, with its striking entrance portal and well-kept grounds. For event planners looking for a place with history and outdoor spaces, the estate combines historic architecture with areas that can be used in a variety of ways.
The grounds include a park, a meadow for open-air events, a barn, an event pavilion and areas by the pond. The gallery features scenes from weddings and non-religious wedding ceremonies, as well as stages in the park and barn. This makes the venue suitable for private celebrations, wedding events, cultural occasions and live music. Public concerts and seasonal events are also held here.
The owners, Sven and Corina Waldschmidt, run Die Kalbsvilla as an event venue and shape the local cultural programme. In addition to its use as an event venue, the grounds offer up to four parking spaces for motorhomes. This is an additional service that may be of interest to event planners when guests or performers are travelling by motorhome.
Die Kalbsvilla is in Ortenberg, in the Wetterau region. Interested parties can contact the owners directly to discuss the options for a planned event and the availability of suitable areas. The various indoor and outdoor spaces allow events to be tailored to the occasion and the historic surroundings.
