Edinburgh Quaker Meeting House

Edinburgh Quaker Meeting House offers a choice of rooms for organisers seeking a convenient, adaptable setting in the city's historic Old Town. The spaces can host meetings, training sessions, conferences, workshops, classes and community gatherings, with layouts adjusted to suit different group sizes and formats.

The largest rooms are the Meeting Room and Hall. The Meeting Room can accommodate up to 60 people in a theatre-style layout and has a screen, camera and microphones for presentations and hybrid meetings. The Hall holds up to 80 in theatre style and includes a projector and piano, making it useful for talks, rehearsals and movement-based sessions. For smaller groups, the Library provides a more intimate setting, while the listed Bow Room is suited to interviews, video calls and one-to-one meetings. Check current availability for individual rooms when making an enquiry.

Tables and chairs can be arranged to suit the session, and several rooms support presentation or audiovisual use. Most of the building has step-free access or lift access, with accessible toilets on the ground floor. Hearing induction loops are available in the Meeting Room and Hall.

Organisers can request refreshments or a catered lunch, with options that include sandwiches, fruit and other buffet items. Dietary needs such as vegan or gluten-free choices can be discussed. Room bookings are handled through an enquiry form or by contacting the venue team, who can help with room choice, catering and practical requirements.
