Marietta Educational Garden Center

Fair Oaks, home of the Marietta Educational Garden Center, is a historic venue available to hire for weddings, receptions, private celebrations and corporate gatherings. Set on 3.5 acres in Marietta, the property combines the character of an antebellum home with landscaped outdoor space, offering organisers a choice of settings for their occasion.

Inside, the two-storey house features period furnishings and several rooms for guests to gather. Outdoors, the grounds include a broad lawn, a gazebo, a wrap-around porch and a covered pavilion. The indoor and outdoor areas can be used separately or together, giving planners options for ceremonies, receptions, dinners, meetings and social events. The venue advises that indoor events can host up to 150 guests, while events using both indoor and outdoor space can accommodate up to 250. Seated dinners indoors have a lower capacity, so organisers should confirm the right layout for their plans.

Fair Oaks offers venue hire rather than a fixed catering package. Organisers can choose their own caterer and other vendors, making it possible to shape the event around their preferred menu and style. Tables and chairs are available for use inside and on the porch, while additional items such as outdoor seating, linens, tableware and tents may need to be arranged separately. Wedding enquiries are supported with venue information, rental guidance and access to table layouts and a floor plan. Private events and business meetings are also welcomed, with booking details and arrangements agreed with the venue in advance.

Located near historic Marietta Square, Fair Oaks provides a distinctive setting for organisers seeking an established home and garden venue for gatherings of varied sizes.
