Alte Remise im Schloss Altshausen

Schloss 7, 88361 Altshausen, Germany

Alte Remise at Schloss Altshausen offers event spaces within the historic walls of a former outbuilding of the palace. The venue is suitable for weddings and non-religious wedding ceremonies, as well as family celebrations, corporate events, conferences and cultural occasions. The palace park and Palm House complement the indoor spaces with options for receptions and ceremonies outdoors.
The ground-floor hall is available for larger celebrations. Its vaulted ceiling with historic paintings, two galleries and a coordinated lighting concept define the atmosphere. It can accommodate banquets and weddings for up to 140 people. Depending on the seating arrangement, it can host up to 200 guests for talks, cultural events and standing receptions. The Fruchtbühne on the upper floor is smaller and has a more rustic design. It can accommodate banquets for up to 80 people and conferences for up to 40 participants.
The seating and table arrangements can be adapted to suit each occasion, with options including long banquet tables, separate tables, rows or parliamentary-style seating. A range of elements can also be combined for weddings, from a ceremony in the garden to a reception in or beside the Palm House. Catering, decoration and event technology are arranged through selected partners. Tenants are not permitted to provide their own services in the rooms. When planning, organisers should also take into account the noise limit, which helps protect the historic ceiling paintings.
