1051 Baxter

1051 Baxter is a boutique event venue in Athens, Georgia, offering a flexible setting for weddings, corporate functions and Greek life gatherings. Its open-plan upper level and more intimate lower space give organisers options for different parts of an event, from a ceremony or presentation to a reception or informal gathering. The venue can host events for smaller groups as well as larger celebrations, with a maximum capacity of 300 people. Seating capacity depends on the chosen layout and event style.

Couples can hold their ceremony and reception in one location, with a bridal suite, a separate preparation area for the wedding party and an outdoor patio suited to a drinks reception. For corporate organisers, the venue is available for meetings, conferences, retreats and seasonal parties. Multiple areas can be used at the same time, making it possible to arrange different activities or guest experiences within one booking. Greek organisations can enquire about socials, luncheons and parents' weekend events.

The venue includes 275 chairs, a selection of farm and folding tables, lounge seating, Wi-Fi, parking and accessible facilities. A catering preparation kitchen is available, and organisers may bring licensed outside suppliers. Other features include a patio, private preparation areas, restrooms on both levels and interchangeable chandeliers in the main space. Event layouts and requirements can be discussed with the venue team, including additional sound and audiovisual needs for corporate events. 1051 Baxter offers event planners a bookable venue with practical amenities and distinct indoor areas for celebrations, business gatherings and university community events.
