The Alice Collective

The Alice Collective offers event planners a flexible space in a historic building in downtown Oakland. Its open-plan venue is suited to intimate and mid-sized gatherings, from wedding celebrations and private parties to corporate events, conferences, seated dinners and cocktail receptions. The layout can be arranged to suit different event formats, whether guests are seated together or moving around the room.

The space covers approximately 3,600 square feet and includes a full bar, an enclosed patio garden and rotating art displays. These features give organisers options for welcoming guests, holding part of an event outdoors or creating a more informal atmosphere alongside the main gathering. The venue is a short walk from the 12th Street/Oakland City Center BART station, making it accessible for guests travelling into downtown Oakland.

Food and drink can be arranged through the venue's in-house hospitality partner, which works with clients on customised menus and event support. Organisers may also choose an outside licensed caterer or a supplier from the venue's preferred vendor list. This gives planners flexibility to shape the catering around the event and their requirements.
