Central Park Bandshell

Central Park Bandshell is an outdoor event venue in the heart of downtown Red Wing, Minnesota. Set within Central Park, the bandshell offers event planners a compact performance setting for concerts, ceremonies, community gatherings and other occasions that suit an open-air location. The park sits between East and West avenues and stretches from West Fourth Street to West Fifth Street, making it easy to find in the city centre.

The bandshell can be reserved through the City of Red Wing's Public Works Department. Organisers can submit a facility use request online or by paper form, and check availability through the city's reservation system. The stated capacity is approximately 75-100 people, making the space a practical option for smaller performances and gatherings rather than large-scale events. Its position in a public park also gives guests access to green space and nearby picnic tables.

The venue is used for community performances, including Red Wing Arts' summer concert programme, and is available for other eligible event bookings. As the wider park remains a public space, organisers should contact the city to discuss scheduling and any other activities that could affect their plans. Reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, and the city provides the relevant forms and facility details. For event planners seeking a distinctive outdoor setting with a dedicated bandstand in central Red Wing, Central Park Bandshell offers a straightforward municipal venue hire option.
