The Barns at Chip Ridge LLC

Set on a family-run working cattle farm in Abingdon, Virginia, The Barns at Chip Ridge offers a countryside setting for weddings and a range of other gatherings. Couples can use the venue for ceremonies and receptions, while organisers can also enquire about corporate events, family celebrations, reunions, birthday parties and showers. The surrounding farm and views towards the Clinch Mountain range give events a rural backdrop, with indoor and outdoor areas available for different parts of the occasion.

The main event barn features a commercial kitchen with equipment and preparation space for visiting caterers, who are welcome to use a separate access point for bringing in supplies. Inside, a stone fireplace creates a focal point, while the wrap-around porch provides covered space for guests. The landscaped grounds include a gazebo, outdoor fire features, patios and water features, offering additional settings for ceremonies, photographs or time outdoors.

Wedding parties have access to a furnished bridal suite with a bathroom and preparation areas, as well as a separate groom's suite with seating and a bar. The venue also offers wedding props and decorative items for rent, including farmhouse-style pieces. For couples or guests who would like to stay on the property, Ivy's Cottage is available as an additional accommodation rental, with a kitchen, living space, bedrooms and a soaking tub. Organisers can contact the venue to discuss scheduling, pricing and event arrangements.
