GAS!Fabriek

Helderseweg 28, 1817 BA Alkmaar, Netherlands

GAS!Fabriek is a characterful event venue in Alkmaar, located on the site of the former gasworks. The historic setting gives gatherings a distinctive atmosphere, while the spaces are suitable for a wide range of plans. Organisers can host a meeting, business gathering, birthday, party, photo shoot, festival or wedding here. The large hall can be closed off and is available to hire for larger groups, a corporate event or a wedding.
The arrangements are tailored to the type of gathering and the organiser's wishes. Activities alongside the programme can also be discussed, such as a workshop, pub quiz, guided tour of the site, game or entertainment. There are options for outdoor activities on the grounds, although facilities such as a tent and heaters, as well as any permits, need to be arranged separately. The photo wall can also be used as a backdrop for photo or film shoots.
Hiring a space at GAS!Fabriek is combined with catering by Ten Westen. Depending on the occasion and programme, options include breakfast, brunch, a business lunch, barbecue, drinks reception, afternoon tea, wine tasting and a dinner package. This means the venue can be used for both a short gathering and a more extensive party or corporate event.
Ten Westen handles bookings and discusses requirements to prepare a bespoke quote. GAS!Fabriek is therefore a suitable choice for event planners looking for a distinctive historic venue where space, food and additional activities can come together.
