The Goss Opera House

The Goss Opera House is a historic downtown Watertown venue offering distinctive spaces for weddings, business gatherings and private celebrations. Its original character is paired with modern facilities, giving organisers a choice of rooms for events ranging from small meetings to large receptions and conferences.

The Reliabank Theater, also known as the Goss Opera Hall, is the principal space. It can seat up to 415 guests in theatre style or accommodate 275 for a meal. Hardwood floors, a chandelier, adjustable lighting, climate control and a sound system complement the building's period details. For smaller or more focused gatherings, Prairie Lakes Landing can host up to 80 guests for a meal and includes a projector and screen. The Studio, which may be hired on its own or alongside Prairie Lakes Landing, offers another option for meetings and parties. Smaller rooms and suites are available for board meetings, intimate dinners, informal gatherings and wedding preparations.

Weddings have a dedicated offering, with the venue's historic interiors, photo settings and separate spaces for the wedding party to get ready. The Goss also welcomes corporate meetings, community events, holiday parties, reunions, showers and birthdays. Its range of room sizes helps event planners select a suitable setting, whether they are arranging a private celebration or a work programme with several sessions. Food and drink for events in the Opera Hall are provided by the venue's exclusive hospitality partner. Tours can be arranged by appointment, and the venue team can provide wedding and event information to help organisers plan their booking.
