Colby Event Center

Colby Event Center is a city-operated facility in Colby, Kansas, offering spaces for organisers planning private celebrations, community functions and sporting events. The venue has two gyms, meeting rooms, a kitchen, concession areas and an indoor playground, giving organisers several options for gatherings with different formats and requirements.

The facility is used for basketball and volleyball games, tournaments and school sports activities, and it is also available to book for occasions such as family reunions and wedding receptions. Meeting rooms can suit smaller gatherings, while the gym spaces provide room for larger activities, events or audiences. Organisers can ask about availability and private rentals directly through the centre.

Practical facilities support event set-up and hosting. A kitchen is available to rent, and concession areas can be included where suitable. Organisers can also enquire about floor covering for gym use and access to the playground. The venue lists separate rental options for its spaces and facilities, so planners can check which areas and services are appropriate for their event.

Located on South Franklin Avenue, the centre serves Colby and the wider Western Kansas community. Its range of indoor spaces makes it an option for organisers seeking a flexible local venue for a reception, reunion, tournament, school activity or other special event. Contact the event centre to discuss the event requirements, rental arrangements and availability.
