Rolf-Engelbrecht-Haus is a municipal event venue in Weinheim that rents out rooms for public, private and commercial events. Its centrepiece is a dividable hall of around 400 square metres. Depending on the seating arrangement, it can accommodate events with up to around 350 people. The partition wall allows the space to be adapted to different group sizes and event formats.
The venue also has a small hall, a foyer and a club room. A stage measuring around 9.5 by 4.5 metres is available for performances and presentations. Facilities include a sound system and spotlights. A cloakroom and foyer complement the rooms and provide practical spaces for welcoming guests and relaxing. The venue is suitable for theatre, concerts, talks, conferences, film screenings, cabaret, exhibitions and balls, among other events. Private celebrations and business events can also be held here.
According to the town, catering is provided by the on-site restaurant. Certain local clubs and organisations may also provide their own catering, subject to the applicable conditions. Additional lighting and sound equipment, as well as technical staff, can be arranged for an extra charge. The rooms are booked under a written rental agreement, and their use is subject to the current price list and the relevant terms and conditions.
The venue is on Breslauer Straße in Weinheim. Blumenstraße bus stop is within walking distance, and parking is available in front of the building. For event planners, it offers an easily accessible, flexibly dividable hall with a stage and additional rooms for different formats and audience sizes.
