Mustang Creek Golf Course

Set in Taylor, Texas, this historic golf course welcomes individual players, members and groups looking for a place to play or organise a golf tournament. The course has been part of the local golfing scene for more than a century, with a landscape shaped by rolling terrain and a traditional course layout. Players can book tee times online, while private, family and corporate membership options are also available.

For event organisers, the course explicitly offers to host tournaments. Its programme includes annual city and club championships, benefit tournaments and regular Wednesday scrambles. These formats make the venue suitable for charity fundraisers, company golf days, club competitions and other gatherings built around a round of golf. The course can also help organise scramble play by grouping golfers across different ability levels, making it easier to welcome mixed-experience teams.

Golf carts are available, and the clubhouse offers indoor and outdoor seating. The course also mentions food and cold drinks as part of its facilities, alongside a pro shop selling golf equipment and apparel. Organisers can contact the team to discuss tournament arrangements and availability, while individual visitors can check tee times and upcoming competitions online.

With its established local history, tournament programme and open-air setting, the course provides a practical option for planners arranging a golf-focused event in the Taylor area. It is particularly suited to organisers seeking a sporting activity and venue in one location, rather than a conventional function room for a dinner or conference.
