Court House Square

Court House Square offers distinctive event spaces in a historic building in downtown Tacoma, giving organisers a choice of rooms for weddings, receptions, meetings and private celebrations. Its principal space, The Ballroom, was formerly a federal courtroom. The 2,000 sq ft room has high ceilings, LED lighting and views across downtown towards Mount Rainier. It can accommodate up to 200 guests in a mixed standing and seated arrangement, 170 in rows of chairs, or 120 for a seated dinner.

For smaller gatherings, The Parlor provides a more intimate setting for celebrations, private receptions and breakout sessions. It can host up to 50 guests in a mixed layout, 60 in rows, or 40 for a seated dinner. The spaces can also be used together for events that benefit from a main room and a separate reception or gathering area.

Tables and chairs are included with venue hire, along with their set-up and pack-down. Sound equipment and a projector with screen are available to rent, and an onsite event chaperone is included. Organisers can ask for the venue's preferred vendor list and may arrange additional event services, including bartending, through its listed provider. Linen is available at an extra cost. Court House Square recommends arranging day-of event coordination, helping organisers plan how the room, suppliers and schedule will work together. The venue provides appointment booking for prospective clients who would like to discuss availability and see the spaces before making a decision.
