Maiden Rock Retreat

Maiden Rock Retreat is a distinctive event venue in a renovated 1940s creamery beside Lake Pepin. Its historic character, lakeside setting and collection of sociable rooms make it a welcoming choice for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, family reunions, business retreats and private celebrations.

The venue has several spaces that organisers can use together or arrange to suit their gathering. The main lounge includes a long bar, fireplace, pool table, foosball and comfortable seating, while the dining area has a large communal table and additional tables and chairs. A raised stage and lounge can serve as a spot for live music or extra seating, and another lounge area has a coffee bar. The property is presented for events of up to around 80 people, with the venue page noting capacity of up to 90. Organisers can arrange a tour to see the spaces and discuss what suits their plans.

Practical details help simplify the occasion. The hosts set out and clear tables and chairs, and provide plates, cutlery and glassware. Two kitchen areas and buffet serving tables are available for a caterer, and the hosts can assist with furniture arrangements and decorating. A built-in sound system in the bar area can be connected to a personal playlist, with space for dancing and quieter conversation in separate lounge areas.

Accommodation is available in the building for up to 16 guests, across two suites and two ground-floor bedrooms, including an accessible bathroom. The adjacent Lake Pepin setting, nearby park and beach, and original creamery features give organisers a memorable backdrop while keeping event and overnight spaces together.
