Jazz-Schmiede Düsseldorf

Himmelgeister Straße 107g, 40225 Düsseldorf, Germany

Jazz-Schmiede Düsseldorf is a specialist concert venue in the Bilk district. The hall combines the intimacy and atmosphere of a jazz club with the acoustics of a small concert hall. This makes it particularly suitable for live music and stage events where the audience and performers are close together. The space can accommodate small ensembles as well as larger groups and big bands.

The programme includes different styles of jazz, world music, big band performances and a series for emerging musicians from the region. The concert offering is complemented by jam sessions and stage evenings featuring cabaret, chanson and theatre. Regular events and collaborations with a changing line-up of artists have established the venue as a favourite with concert promoters and cultural professionals in Düsseldorf. External event formats are also held here.

For event planners looking for a characterful venue with a clear musical identity, Jazz-Schmiede is particularly interesting for concerts and smaller stage productions. The bar on site adds to the club atmosphere. The entrance is on Ulenbergstraße, and public transport stops are nearby. Jazz-Schmiede is run by the association Jazz in Düsseldorf e.V. The website provides up-to-date programme information and separate contact details for artist and booking enquiries. Event organisers should discuss their specific plans directly with the team, as the venue runs a curated cultural programme and is not a multipurpose hall available for unrestricted use.
