PLAZA 9

Expo Plaza 9, 30539 Hannover, Germany

PLAZA 9 is a versatile event venue on the former EXPO site in Hannover. Event planners can book the spacious areas for company celebrations, meetings, conferences, product presentations, anniversaries, trade fairs and networking events. Depending on the concept, individual areas can be used separately or connected. This makes the venue suitable for smaller formats as well as large events with up to 2,000 guests.

The reception area supports an orderly arrival and can be used for accreditation. An adjoining cloakroom has space for up to 2,300 coats. At the heart of the venue is the flexible Main Area, which can be used for gala dinners, trade fairs, presentations and get-togethers, among other events. The Vibe Club, with its bar, dance floor and lounge areas, is available for smaller celebrations or to round off an event. A separate lounge with a bar can also be incorporated into a range of event concepts.

The facilities also include backstage and production areas, artists' dressing rooms, storage space and catering preparation areas. The technical equipment supports in-person events as well as hybrid and digital formats with streaming. Thanks to its location near the exhibition centre and the Messe/Ost S-Bahn station, PLAZA 9 is easy for guests and event teams to reach. The spaces and areas can be adapted to suit the running order, for example for conferences with a reception, company events with an evening programme, or presentations followed by a celebration.
