Silver Dollar Fair

Silver Dollar Fairgrounds offers indoor and outdoor spaces for organisers planning events in Chico, California. Its facilities accommodate a wide range of formats, from smaller gatherings to large outdoor occasions, with spaces available for private and corporate bookings.

Indoor options include the Commercial Building, a 14,000-square-foot space with capacity for more than 1,000 people, and Jack Vanella Hall, which measures 11,200 square feet. Both include facilities such as restrooms, a stage, bars, tables and chairs, with kitchen or preparation-kitchen access. Harvest Hall provides a more compact 4,000-square-foot setting for up to 250 guests, with a kitchen, bar, restrooms, tables and chairs. These buildings can suit wedding receptions, seminars, expos, trade shows and other hosted gatherings.

Outside, the fairgrounds has open areas including the Carnival Lot for car shows, outdoor vendor events and similar uses, alongside livestock barns and a pavilion. The covered pavilion can be used for concerts, dinners and vendor events. Grandstand seating is available for events that need a larger audience setting, with capacity listed at 4,000 across the main grandstand, bleachers and box seating.

The fairgrounds invites organisers to submit an event rental application. Applying does not itself reserve a facility, and bookings are confirmed through a contract after the application is reviewed.
