The lodge is available for business meetings, family reunions and graduation parties, as well as other small gatherings. Its flexible use makes it suitable for both personal celebrations and business get-togethers. Tables and chairs are provided, and kitchen amenities are available to support the event. The building has received improvements to its roof, deck and interior, offering guests an updated space in the established park setting.

Cummings Lodge is managed through the City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department. Organisers can contact the Park Office to ask about availability and make a reservation. Rental fees and a security deposit apply, with rates varying according to the day and type of booking. Organisers planning a reception, company picnic or graduation celebration should also check whether additional security arrangements are required.
