The Arts Campus at Willits

The Arts Campus at Willits (TACAW) is a flexible venue in Basalt, Colorado, available for private and corporate events as well as its own performing arts programme. Its 10,000-square-foot campus brings together indoor rooms and outdoor spaces for organisers planning performances, lectures, meetings, workshops, dinners, fundraisers, award ceremonies and weddings.

The theatre can host up to 245 people seated for concerts or lectures, or 400 standing. Other layouts are possible for cabaret and banquets. Its stage, projector and lighting and sound systems support presentations and live performances, and multi-camera live streaming is available for an additional fee. A backstage green room offers a private space for artists or wedding parties.

For smaller gatherings, the light-filled Lipkin Commons can be arranged for workshops, dinners and receptions. It has a video wall, sound system, bar and all-electric kitchen, and the venue can provide a list of approved caterers. The covered Steiner Terrace connects with the outdoor lawn, while the Alpenglow Listening Lawn and amphitheatre offer two performance areas surrounded by native planting. The Alpine Bank Community Room is suited to rehearsals, meetings and workshops for up to 30 people, with hourly rentals available.

The venue provides different settings for events that benefit from a performance-ready theatre, a more informal gathering space or an outdoor location. Organisers can enquire about availability and pricing directly with TACAW. Non-profit and commercial rental rates differ, and private events generally require a full-day booking.
