Coolbawn Quay

Coolbawn Quay is a lakeside resort and event venue on the shores of Lough Derg in County Tipperary. Set within a private village of cottages, rooms and lodges, it offers event planners a distinctive setting for weddings, corporate gatherings and private celebrations, with accommodation available for guests staying on site.

Weddings can make use of the waterfront, terraces and Pavilion, with options for ceremonies, drinks receptions, dinner and dancing. The Lakeshore Pavilion hosts larger receptions, while several drawing rooms provide settings for smaller gatherings. The venue can be booked exclusively for selected wedding dates, and the team offers planning support and wedding packages. The village has sleeping capacity for up to 120 guests, making it possible for family and friends to stay together around the celebration.

For business events, Coolbawn Quay offers meeting rooms with natural light and lake views, along with accommodation-based event options. The separate village spaces can also serve as breakout areas. The resort can host private dining, celebration dinners and corporate meals, with spaces ranging from intimate rooms to the Pavilion dining hall. Its restaurant, bar and outdoor terrace provide further options for gathering during an event stay.

The lakeside location, private marina and surrounding woodland give organisers scope to build in time outdoors, relaxation or local activities. Event planners can enquire about suitable spaces, guest accommodation and arrangements for their chosen occasion.
