McMorran Place Theatre

McMorran Place Theatre is a 1,135-seat performance venue in downtown Port Huron, Michigan, available for live shows and events. Its fixed auditorium, stage and technical facilities make it a practical option for organisers planning concerts, theatre productions, talks, ceremonies and other audience-led programmes. The seating layout offers clear views across the auditorium, while the venue's established stage infrastructure supports a range of performances and presentations.

Organisers can make use of the theatre's lighting and sound systems, orchestra pit, dressing rooms and backstage areas. The stage includes a removable orchestra pit cover, storage in the wings and facilities for performers, including principal and chorus dressing rooms. A loading entrance and lift help with moving production equipment, and the venue provides technical information to support event planning. A hearing loop is available for audience members who use compatible hearing devices.

The theatre is part of McMorran Place, a civic arts and entertainment complex in Port Huron. The wider site also has an ice arena and bookable rooms, but the theatre itself is the main choice for events that need a seated auditorium and performance stage. Its scale can suit productions with sizeable audiences, while the stage and backstage provisions are useful for touring performers and local productions alike.

Event organisers can enquire about booking the theatre and discuss technical requirements with the venue team. McMorran Place also provides box office and ticketing support for theatre events, while licensees are responsible for their own marketing and promotion. The venue's central location and established event operations make it a straightforward setting for bringing performers and audiences together.
