West-Cal Arena & Events Center

West-Cal Arena & Events Center offers event organisers a choice of indoor and outdoor spaces in Sulphur, Louisiana, a short drive from Lake Charles. Its facilities suit a wide range of occasions, from business meetings, training sessions and conferences to weddings, proms, family reunions, banquets, concerts and trade shows.

The Events Center brings together a ballroom, exhibition hall, meeting rooms and a spacious lobby or pre-function area. Organisers can book individual rooms or combine them to create a larger layout. Meeting spaces can be arranged in several formats, including boardroom, horseshoe, banquet and theatre styles. Audio and video technology is available across the meeting and event areas, with additional equipment such as microphones, projectors, a stage and podium available to request. The venue also has a full-service kitchen, and its booking form lists in-house catering, approved caterers and client-provided food as options.

For larger events and arena productions, the covered West-Cal Arena has more than 135,000 square feet of space and permanent seating for over 1,800 people. The arena floor measures 120 by 260 feet, with a covered warm-up area and a barn equipped for livestock events. Further facilities include RV spaces, lighted parking and concessions.

Organisers can enquire about the whole facility or select particular spaces for their event. With flexible room layouts, technical resources and both convention-style and arena facilities on site, West-Cal can accommodate events ranging from smaller meetings to large public gatherings.
