Retallack Woodlands

Set in the Cornish countryside near Falmouth, Retallack Woodlands offers a distinctive setting for weddings and private celebrations. Its 50 acres of native woodland include open clearings and landscaped outdoor spaces, giving couples and event planners a choice of natural backdrops for ceremonies, gatherings and photographs.

At the heart of the venue is an oak barn that can be used for dining, dancing and evening celebrations. The combination of indoor and outdoor areas makes the site suitable across the seasons, with the barn providing a sheltered option when the weather turns. For couples who want support shaping the occasion, the venue's Creative Director can help bring ideas for the landscape and buildings to life. Planners can also work with the team behind the scenes while managing the event themselves.

Retallack also welcomes parties and other private celebrations. Organisers can use the woodland, barn and surrounding grounds to create an event that feels personal to the occasion, whether they want a relaxed gathering or a lively evening. A spring-fed swimming lake, sauna and wood-fired hot tub add further features to the setting, subject to the arrangements for each booking.

Rather than offering a standard function-room format, Retallack provides a rural venue with a mix of striking buildings and open-air spaces. It is a choice for event planners and couples seeking a private Cornish location where the setting itself can shape the character of the day.
