Hollywood Theater

Hollywood Theater is a historic Minneapolis event venue available for weddings, private celebrations and corporate gatherings. Its restored Art Deco interiors give organisers a distinctive setting, combining period details with facilities for contemporary events. The building dates from 1935 and is recognised for its Streamline Moderne design. Original features such as the terrazzo flooring, vintage lighting, lobby fountain and marquee contribute to the character of the space.

The venue offers 10,000 square feet of main-stage event space, as well as a 4,000-square-foot outdoor courtyard for occasions that include an outdoor element. The theatre can accommodate up to 270 guests for a seated event or more than 500 for an open-house style gathering. Its stage can be used for performances and presentations, while a private dressing room provides a practical area for performers or speakers.

For event layouts, the venue provides gold Chiavari chairs and a selection of round, banquet, high and low tables. Organisers can also make use of the bar front, Wi-Fi and a food preparation area. The historic marquee can be personalised for an event, and the original poster frames offer another way to tailor the setting to a celebration or company occasion.

With both indoor and outdoor areas, the theatre can suit different event formats, from a wedding reception or private party to a corporate event or premiere-style gathering. Organisers can contact the venue through its enquiry form to discuss their plans and availability.
