Dree-Dörper-Huus is a municipal event venue in Welmbüttel and serves as a meeting place for the communities of Welmbüttel, Gaushorn and Schrum. The venue is mainly used by local associations and the fire brigade. Meetings and gatherings are also held there. Private individuals can also hire the rooms for their own events.
Three rooms are available to book. They can be used individually or together, allowing organisers to choose a suitable setting for each occasion. One room is suitable for a smaller gathering, while hiring all three rooms provides more space for a larger event. Details of the maximum capacity or technical facilities are not published on the website.
The venue welcomes local residents as well as visitors from elsewhere, although evening events are not permitted for tenants from outside the area. Hire prices vary depending on where tenants live and the extent of the booking. Enquiries can be made through the mayor or the municipality's contact form. They should include the occasion, preferred date, time period and number of attendees.
As a village community centre, the venue is particularly suitable for private celebrations, association events and smaller gatherings. Anyone planning an event in a rural setting and looking for rooms rather than a complete catering package can enquire with Dree-Dörper-Huus about availability and suitable room options. The venue is a simple, community-focused alternative to commercial event spaces in the Dithmarschen region.
