New Field Farm at Timber Ridge

New Field Farm at Timber Ridge is a historic farm venue in Lexington, Virginia, for weddings and other special events. Set among open fields with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the property pairs a restored barn with outdoor spaces, giving organisers options for celebrations in different seasons and weather.

The farm's ceremony lawn offers a countryside setting, while the barn provides an indoor alternative and a reception space for gatherings of up to 250 guests. A shaded patio can be used for cocktail hour, and a balcony overlooks the surrounding landscape. The venue also has a dance floor and can adapt the reception layout to suit the occasion. For smaller celebrations, micro-wedding packages are available.

On-site suites give wedding parties and guests a place to stay or prepare at the venue. The accommodation includes rooms with private bathrooms, and dedicated getting-ready spaces help the couple and their party settle in before the celebration. The bridal suite has its own dressing room and access to the outdoors, while another suite offers a relaxed space for the wedding party.

The farm's history is reflected in the restored barn, where original features and reclaimed materials sit alongside modern updates. Wedding packages include a range of options and add-ons, and the venue works with local planners, caterers, DJs and bands through a preferred vendor list. Organisers can arrange a tour and enquire about dates, packages and the suitability of the spaces for their event.
