Stichting Dorpshuis Twisk

Dorpsweg 91, 1676 GG Twisk, Netherlands

Dorpshuis Twisk offers event planners and organisers a practical venue for parties, gatherings and other special occasions in the heart of the village. The rooms are suitable for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, staff outings, condolence gatherings and meetings, among other events. Associations can also use the venue for activities and get-togethers.

The venue has several rooms that can be used separately or together. The sports hall measures 22 by 10 metres and has a stage with decor and lighting facilities. For a smaller gathering or reception, there is a foyer with a bar, projector and projection screen. With tables and chairs set out, it can accommodate around 40 to 50 people. The adjoining billiards room has space for three billiard tables. Two tables can be lowered into the floor, making more space available in the foyer. A movable partition allows the rooms to be separated.

Food and drink can also be part of the gathering. The village hall provides, among other things, coffee tables, cakes, snacks, meals, and cold or hot buffets. Smaller groups can opt for, for example, a high tea or a package with billiards and a beer tasting. Organisers can discuss their requirements so that the room layout and catering can be tailored to the group.

With its combination of a large hall, foyer and additional rooms, Dorpshuis Twisk is suitable for both festive and more private occasions. The venue is centrally located in Twisk and offers an informal setting for gatherings where guests come together for a programme, meal or celebration.
